TERMS AND CONDITIONS

APPLICATION DATES:
• Applications will be open from until July 2019.

SELECTION PROCESS:

• Hello Kid Fair is a wholesale trade event and are seeking applications from brands and/or designers who value quality and

original design.  We are interested in teaming up with you and your brand to support each other for the next selling season.  

Please provide us with the detailed information about your brand.  Your images, social media and website are great indicators

of your brand and also the quality of your stand presentation.  This event is curated with limited stands so unfortunately not

all applicants will be successful.


 

EVENT DATES:

• Bump In - Tuesday 30th July, 2019

• Event Dates - Wednesday 31st July - Saturday 3rd August, 2019

• Bump Out - Saturday 3rd August, 2019

VENUE:

• Melbourne - Exact location will be announced shortly

STAND BUILD:

• The overall stand size will depend on your application.  The walls and appearance will also be decided on both the brand

and Hello Kid Fair. We have a number of options for the stand build (2.4m high white wall traditional trade fair walls, no walls

open space, or your own design).  Lighting can be arranged either via attaching to the 2.4m high white wall, or with

additional lighting.  Please note additional lighting may incur an extra cost.

MARKETING:

• Hello Kid Fair includes all marketing costs as part of your overall package cost.  We will use your images and brand

information via a number of marketing methods including Instagram, Facebook, email, our Hello Kid Fair website,

digital mail, direct print, and via phone and email. 


 

DEPOSIT (non-refundable):

• Applicants will be invoiced within 2 weeks of being accepted to exhibit at Hello Kid Fair 2019
• A non-refundable deposit of 20% is payable within 7 days to secure your stand. 

 

SUBSEQUENT PAYMENTS:
• After you have finalised your 20% deposit your stand is now secure.  There will be two additional payments to be paid by 
May 2019 (40%) and July 2019 (40%)
 

CANCELLATIONS:
• Cancellation up until 5 May 2019 will incur a 20% cancellation fee.
• Cancellation between 5 May 2019 and 16th July 2019 will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
• Cancellation within 36 to 14 days prior to the event will incur a 100% charge unless the stand can be filled.  
In which case a 50% fee will be charged.
• Cancellation less than 14 days prior to the event will incur a 100% charge, regardless of whether the stand can be filled or not.


 

EXHIBITOR REQUIREMENTS

• All exhibitors must have their own public liability insurance for the event. This can be arranged through Hello Kid Fair or

independently with a copy of your certificate forwarded to Hello Kid Fair by the date specified.

• It is the Exhibitor's role whilst partaking in Hello Kid Fair to incur a small cost for the media package.  Tier options available. 

• Exhibitors must be set up and ready to trade by the specified time each day.

• If exhibitors choose to utilise the 2.4m high white walls for their stand, displays must not exceed this 2.4m high along backing

walls and 1m high along the sides of stands. If any exhibitor exceeds these height limitations they will be required to remove

or resize the oversized items to fit the correct specifications before being permitted to exhibit.

• Displays must allow access for staff to enter and exit via the front side of their stand. Side access is not guaranteed, for

example you may be located within a row of stands with neighbours either side of you.

• Please limit the amount of rubbish (plastic, bags etc) you bring to the venue.  

• Hello Kid Fair is not responsible for breakages or damages of any product or display or personal belongings brought to the venue.

• Exhibitors will take due care to prevent injury and property damage. Care must be taken to minimise the risk of damage to the

venue during bump-in and bump-out. Damages must be paid for by the person responsible.
